Thanks to some nice moves Isidoro Gaueko could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Anselmo Blai however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Cacharí AFC booed when 9 de diciembre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Erlantz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anselmo Blai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Gaueko in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Gabino in the 19th minute of play forced 9 de diciembre's goalkeeper Anselmo Blai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elpidio Elodio hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. With his leg Anselmo Blai managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Cacharí AFC's Isidoro Gaueko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The nice shot from Isidoro Gaueko in the 27thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Anselmo Blai had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Abelardo Fonso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 9 de diciembre. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Crispo in the 40th minute of play forced Cacharí AFC's goalkeeper Abelardo Fonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bonifacio Crispo might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelardo Fonso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bonifacio Crispo ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half 9 de diciembre were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bonifacio Crispo was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Eulalio Gabino put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Anselmo Blai. In the 57th minute, Elpidio Elodio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anselmo Blai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Gaueko, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 78 played minutes 9 de diciembre got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Elodio. 80 minutes into the match, 9 de diciembre's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Gaueko came free, but Anselmo Blai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Bartolo Basajaun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anselmo Blai was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Intxixu during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 85 played minutes 9 de diciembre got a freekick which was hit by Joel Intxixu. Cacharí AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
