The supporters of Club Atlético River Plate booed when Cacharí AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Perfecto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidro Bladi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Fonso having to interfere. Fabian Txindoki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Gabino in the 11th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético River Plate's zone, Isidoro Gaueko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Txindoki came out of the goal and Isidoro Gaueko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute Roman Witek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Fonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Txindoki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Perfecto in the 19th minute of play. With a little luck, Club Atlético River Plate's Fabian Txindoki got control of the ball when Isidoro Gaueko tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Perfecto in the 22nd minute of play forced Club Atlético River Plate's goalkeeper Fabian Txindoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético River Plate's Edgar Ispir got a free kick in the 23rd minute. If Isidoro Gaueko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute Eulalio Gabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Txindoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Eulalio Gabino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabian Txindoki. The goal made the score 1-0. 35 minutes into the match, Club Atlético River Plate's goalkeeper Fabian Txindoki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anacleto Lano. Abelardo Fonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Eleder, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. With a little luck, Club Atlético River Plate's Fabian Txindoki got control of the ball when Isidoro Gaueko tried to sneak it across the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Ulises Perfecto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabian Txindoki. Ulises Perfecto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulises Perfecto to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roman Witek in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Fonso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abelardo Fonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Witek in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Club Atlético River Plate's Edgar Ispir seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Edgar Ispir the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club Atlético River Plate protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edgar Ispir had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Fabian Txindoki had in the 66thth minute some difficulties stopping Cirilo Tabor's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 67 minutes Club Atlético River Plate's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cirilo Tabor who took care of the corner kick. Isidoro Gaueko was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 70 minutes into the match, Isidoro Gaueko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabian Txindoki. Club Atlético River Plate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidoro Gaueko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. A collision led to Cacharí AFC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Santo Lluques hit a great ball. Eulalio Gabino hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Roman Witek spun around in front of the goal 77 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Cacharí AFC's goal. 82 minutes into the match, Club Atlético River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Perfecto came free, but Fabian Txindoki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidoro Gaueko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Txindoki having to interfere. Fabian Txindoki came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Cacharí AFC's Eulalio Gabino. But to his dismay, Eulalio Gabino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Ladislao Eleder was extremely unlucky when he, in the 89th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Abelardo Fonso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roman Witek showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 91 minute of play. After 96 played minutes Cacharí AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Lano. In the 97th match minute, Cacharí AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Perfecto to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cacharí AFC had played much better football throughout.
