A throw-in in the 34th minute of the game was made by Teofilo Chaime with Mariano Blanco as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Alvaro Amato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Maties in the 43rd minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cipriano Rik was the one to do the kick off. Constantino Haritzeder came out of the goal and Cipriano Rik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duro de Roer AFC were furious when Wilfredo Gelacio was red carded, 77 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Teofilo Chaime's shot from long distance in the 81st minute was not bad at all, but MONCHOSFC's Alvaro Amato knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. 85 minutes into the match, Cipriano Rik notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Duro de Roer AFC's Constantino Haritzeder. Constantino Haritzeder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
