Luciano Aureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Batista in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Bemabe in the 13th minute of play forced Soñadores's goalkeeper Luciano Aureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Nicanor Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Aureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saturnino Bemabe in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luciano Aureo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Soñadores's Luciano Aureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Bemabe in the 21st minute of play. Rigoberto Berenguer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Reynaldo Frisco came out and tried to block the shot, but Rigoberto Berenguer slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 24th minute. Reynaldo Frisco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rigoberto Berenguer in the 30th minute. When Real Académico De Fútbol's Nicanor Batista, in the 34th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Real Académico De Fútbol. 36 minutes into the match, Soñadores's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Bemabe came free, but Luciano Aureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rigoberto Berenguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Rigoberto Berenguer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saturnino Bemabe to make the kick off. In the 58th minute Saturnino Bemabe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Aureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 2-0 became the score in the 62nd minute when Lázaro Ramone elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Luciano Aureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Bemabe in the 66th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Rigoberto Berenguer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Real Académico De Fútbol's Silvio Abajas got a free kick in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Berenguer in the 73rd minute of play forced Real Académico De Fútbol's goalkeeper Reynaldo Frisco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 played minutes Real Académico De Fútbol got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Abajas. If Rigoberto Berenguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. Reynaldo Frisco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Berenguer, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. A collision led to Soñadores getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Rigoberto Berenguer hit a great ball. Luciano Aureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Bemabe in the 88th minute of the match. Luciano Aureo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Bemabe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, one of Soñadores:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Soñadores. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Real Académico De Fútbol. Jonas Osoro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Luciano Aureo. 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Real Académico De Fútbol players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Soñadores.
