This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Henning Gregersson as he didn't even see the shot coming. Carrera's Aureliano Florinio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Esiquio in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Valdir Martins fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 27th minute Orlando Belo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Gregersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Macvanagu FC's goalkeeper Henning Gregersson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruperto Matia. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Henning Gregersson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience was convinced that Ruperto Matia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henning Gregersson was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. The referee felt a red card was in order, 42 minutes into the game, when Anier Frederico put in a rough tackle. In the 44th minute there was a penalty for Carrera. Rafael Ugutz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Henning Gregersson. 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nemesio Machado during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nemesio Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ruperto Matia was the one to do the kick off. 60 minutes into the game, Jeremias Cruz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Macvanagu FC's Melchor Esiquio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Macvanagu FC's attentive Angelino Heli managed to snatch the ball when Orlando Belo made a throw-in in the 61st minute of the game. Henning Gregersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Orlando Belo made a precise shot to the right of Henning Gregersson. Macvanagu FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The throw-in from Jeremias Cruz in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Macvanagu FC's Melchor Esiquio. The supporters of Carrera booed when Macvanagu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Esiquio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdir Martins in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henning Gregersson saved Macvanagu FC from getting behind. Haroldo Abadia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 93 minutes of play, Carrera's Ruperto Matia made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henning Gregersson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Henning Gregersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Matia in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Carrera had played much better football throughout.
