Macvanagu FC's Tadeusz Dynda got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 14th minute, but Henning Gregersson got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Macvanagu FC hanging dry this time. Niceto Colas hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Nicanor Batista might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henning Gregersson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicanor Batista ran back to his position shaking his head. Henning Gregersson made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Teodoro Rito sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Niceto Colas in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Macvanagu FC's Anier Frederico. After a rather tough play, Real Académico De Fútbol's Gabriel Ulizes got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 26 played minutes, Macvanagu FC's Ali Güralp Özalpsan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Reynaldo Frisco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Macvanagu FC reached it. Reynaldo Frisco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Iratze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Tadeusz Dynda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macvanagu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeusz Dynda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Frisco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Real Académico De Fútbol defense, Melchor Esiquio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reynaldo Frisco. The Real Académico De Fútbol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reynaldo Frisco should have stopped the shot. Hernan Iratze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Anier Frederico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Macvanagu FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Académico De Fútbol the free kick. Anier Frederico hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Bernabe Millano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Gregersson having to interfere. After the first half Macvanagu FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicanor Batista made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Hernan Iratze cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Reynaldo Frisco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 57 minutes into the match, Macvanagu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Ulizes came free, but Henning Gregersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Macvanagu FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Hernan Iratze hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Macvanagu FC's Melchor Esiquio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. In the 65th match minute, Real Académico De Fútbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Colas to maneuver through the defense. Tadeusz Dynda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reynaldo Frisco made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Hernan Iratze sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th minute, Melchor Esiquio made a precise shot to the right of Reynaldo Frisco. Real Académico De Fútbol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After 82 minutes, Nemesio Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Macvanagu FC and the Real Académico De Fútbol players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Real Académico De Fútbol booed when Macvanagu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Frederico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Macvanagu FC's Tadeusz Dynda got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Hernan Iratze got free in front of the goal in the 89th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Reynaldo Frisco was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Real Académico De Fútbol's goalkeeper Reynaldo Frisco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tadeusz Dynda. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeusz Dynda got free with Reynaldo Frisco in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
