It was a penalty for MONCHOSFC! 30 minutes into the match, MONCHOSFC's Cipriano Rik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aureliano Florinio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdir Martins to strike the kick off in the second half. Alvaro Amato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Belo in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Valdir Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Belgrano booed when MONCHOSFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Rik didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 minutes, Dalmacio Lluques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MONCHOSFC and the Belgrano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, MONCHOSFC's Dalmacio Lluques got a free kick in the 59th minute. Cipriano Rik might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aureliano Florinio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cipriano Rik ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cipriano Rik got free with Aureliano Florinio in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Cipriano Rik managed to get in a good position for a shot. MONCHOSFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Rik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aureliano Florinio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to MONCHOSFC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Marcos Che hit a great ball. Cipriano Rik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aureliano Florinio having to make a save. Aureliano Florinio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cipriano Rik's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Belgrano's 邱谦翔 got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The MONCHOSFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MONCHOSFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
