Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by LCPP's Mario Alberto Kempes. But to his dismay, Mario Alberto Kempes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 12th minute, Claudio-Paul Caniggia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri, passed just outside the right post. Pico AFC's Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Pico AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute, Damian Laskowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pico AFC's Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 25th minute of play. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for LCPP! Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Alberto Kempes went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Diego Polenta's late challenge caught a Pico AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Polenta helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 minutes of play, LCPP's Claudio-Paul Caniggia made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Alberto Kempes made a kick off. The supporters of LCPP booed when Pico AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Lia didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 56th minute of play forced Pico AFC's goalkeeper Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the game, LCPP's Claudio-Paul Caniggia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. 62 minutes into the match, Pico AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Alberto Kempes came free, but Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 played minutes LCPP got a freekick which was hit by Claudio-Paul Caniggia. LCPP made a substitution. Ataka Krieser replaced Godfredo Musko. In the 66th match minute, LCPP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio-Paul Caniggia to maneuver through the defense. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 68th minute of play. Claudio-Paul Caniggia took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. LCPP made a substitution. Francisco Garaona replaced Claudio-Paul Caniggia. The LCPP fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when LCPP's Ataka Krieser looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Lázaro Poz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Ataka Krieser had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri. Pico AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ataka Krieser was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ataka Krieser in the 91st minute of play forced Pico AFC's goalkeeper Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ataka Krieser took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-1. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Garaona in the 95th minute of the match.
