The referee ignored Wolfhard A.C.'s protests and gave Constantino Gaskon a yellow card for diving instead. 13 minutes into the game, Claudio-Paul Caniggia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Cosme Martinez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Wolfhard A.C. booed when LCPP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Alberto Kempes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Wolfhard A.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Domingos Guib fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Domingos Guib could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Cosme Martinez however easily saved by the left post. Hilario Fero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lennart Kvist having to make a save. In the 36th minute Claudio-Paul Caniggia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, LCPP's Mario Alberto Kempes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cosme Martinez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After a rather tough play, LCPP's Sugar Leonard got a free kick in the 41st minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Mario Alberto Kempes made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Wolfhard A.C. booed when LCPP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Guib didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 52 played minutes Wolfhard A.C. got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Magdaleno. If Hilario Fero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. Wolfhard A.C.'s Cosme Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ataka Krieser in the 91st minute of play. Cristian Totakoxe's late challenge caught a LCPP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Totakoxe helped the player get up and apologised. Cristian Totakoxe hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Garaona in the 96th minute of play forced Wolfhard A.C.'s goalkeeper Cosme Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
