Celedonio Frederik might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabian Porfirio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celedonio Frederik ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, D. San Aome's Fabian Porfirio got control of the ball when Melquiades Naelio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabian Porfirio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. When Melquiades Naelio came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Pelotines Sporting fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Naelio couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pelotines Sporting had played much better football throughout.
