Cleto Veronica yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Ivan Anaya's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cleto Veronica was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Anaya in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cleto Veronica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alberto George recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Alberto George reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cleto Veronica. The goal made the score 3-0. A hard shot 42 in the game by Ivan Anaya from a close distance when the talented Cleto Veronica managed to make a qualified save. Xerez's players were relieved. With his leg Cleto Veronica managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when EasyTarget's Ivan Anaya fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
