Tomás Loren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glenn Hart in the 17th minute of play forced D. San Aome's goalkeeper Fabian Porfirio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Tomás Loren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xerez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave D. San Aome the free kick. A collision led to Xerez getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Tomás Loren hit a great ball. Segundo Paio kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, D. San Aome's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Urbasa came free, but Fabian Porfirio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Xerez's Luciano Urbasa to fire away a dangerous shot which Fabian Porfirio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. D. San Aome's Fabian Porfirio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Loren in the 29th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Glenn Hart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xerez's supporters rose to their feet, but Glenn Hart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Porfirio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Tomás Loren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Tomás Loren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Fabian Porfirio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aquilino Marko kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. If Glenn Hart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 43rd minute, Glenn Hart left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xerez fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The D. San Aome players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Xerez were winning 1-2.

Glenn Hart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Fabian Porfirio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the D. San Aome defense, Tomás Loren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabian Porfirio. The D. San Aome fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabian Porfirio should have stopped the shot. Cleto Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 조 지 in the 67th minute of the match. Xerez's Cleto Veronica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 조 지 in the 69th minute of play. With a little luck, D. San Aome's Fabian Porfirio got control of the ball when Tomás Loren tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, D. San Aome's Philip Sampaio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cleto Veronica made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, 조 지 managed to get in a good position for a shot. D. The audience was convinced that 조 지's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cleto Veronica was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. During the 89th minute of the match Luciano Urbasa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Luciano Urbasa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 89th match minute, Xerez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Urbasa to maneuver through the defense. Cleto Veronica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 조 지, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glenn Hart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Porfirio having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Xerez walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
