Feliberto Refugio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Monteagudo's zone, Dieguito Maradona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliberto Refugio came out of the goal and Dieguito Maradona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute, Gualterio Ireno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Dieguito Maradona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The las locas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When Orlando Cordarin fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monteagudo's protests and gave Orlando Cordarin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to las locas getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Pastor Ikatz hit a great ball. A hard shot by Cristobal Brion from long distance, 23 minutes into the match, got Igor Napier's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Feliberto Refugio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dieguito Maradona went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Feliberto Refugio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dieguito Maradona, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dieguito Maradona in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliberto Refugio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Feliberto Refugio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Mitxaut in the 46th minute of play. Monteagudo's Feliberto Refugio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Mitxaut in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.
The wind increased when Dieguito Maradona made the kick off in the second half. las locas's Igor Napier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Soin in the 54th minute of play. The Monteagudo fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Monteagudo's Amador Soin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 60th minute, Dieguito Maradona fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Feliberto Refugio, passed just outside the right post. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Dieguito Maradona took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Feliberto Refugio to make any attempt to save it. Dieguito Maradona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliberto Refugio made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Dieguito Maradona sent off a good shot on target. Feliberto Refugio came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by las locas's Dieguito Maradona. But to his dismay, Dieguito Maradona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. Monteagudo's Feliberto Refugio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dieguito Maradona in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Cordarell in the 80th minute of play forced las locas's goalkeeper Igor Napier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, las locas's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Cordarell came free, but Igor Napier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, las locas's Feliberto Refugio threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isidro Mitxaut, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Feliberto Refugio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dieguito Maradona in the 85th minute. The supporters of las locas booed when Monteagudo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Domeka didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Gualterio Ireno from long distance, 86 minutes into the match, got Feliberto Refugio's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 90 minutes into the match, Monteagudo's goalkeeper Feliberto Refugio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dieguito Maradona. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dieguito Maradona in the 93rd minute of play forced Monteagudo's goalkeeper Feliberto Refugio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Monteagudo's Luis Remir got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the game, Marciano Cordarell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monteagudo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave las locas the free kick. After 95 played minutes Monteagudo got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Cordarell. The long shot by Andres Palban in the 96th minute really tested Feliberto Refugio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. las locas played a much better game than Monteagudo and deserved their victory. The Monteagudo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
