When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Amador Soin took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Benedicto Sadurni to make any attempt to save it. After 29th play minutes Amador Soin shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Benedicto Sadurni and just under the crossbar into goal. Laferrere's Benedicto Sadurni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Cordarell in the 32nd minute of play. Cristobal Brion made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Laferrere's Jeremias Misael. Monteagudo's Feliberto Refugio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Lidon in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rolando Lidon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feliberto Refugio was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 40th minute, Ubaldo Presebal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Monteagudo booed when Laferrere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Misael didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Monteagudo getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ramon Egun hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Jeremias Misael managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laferrere's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Misael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliberto Refugio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernardo Senon kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Ruperto Maura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Laferrere's Clodoveo Gil got a free kick in the 67th minute. Benedicto Sadurni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Maura in the 74th minute of the match. Jeremias Misael hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Clodoveo Gil kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Marciano Cordarell made a precise shot to the right of Benedicto Sadurni. Laferrere's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.
