Severiano Delfino's late challenge caught a Monteagudo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severiano Delfino got his second yellow card in the match during the 3rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Monteagudo booed when Buenos Aires City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Delfino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Amador Soin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monteagudo's supporters rose to their feet, but Amador Soin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristides Urdin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Feliberto Refugio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rosendo Sol went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute Amador Soin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Urdin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliberto Refugio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Sol in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Monteagudo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Cordarell to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Baldomiro Sol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rosendo Sol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Feliberto Refugio managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Buenos Aires City's Baldomiro Sol fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Baldomiro Sol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliberto Refugio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Sol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Monteagudo's Feliberto Refugio got control of the ball when Baldomiro Sol tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Amador Soin fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monteagudo's protests and gave Amador Soin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Buenos Aires City booed when Monteagudo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Soin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Baldomiro Sol dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Feliberto Refugio, 1-2. After 71 minutes of play, Buenos Aires City's Rosendo Sol made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Feliberto Refugio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Baldomiro Sol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Feliberto Refugio made a huge save. Jose Lesardo kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Buenos Aires City's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Soin came free, but Aristides Urdin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Baldomiro Sol lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Feliberto Refugio. Buenos Aires City's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
