Placido Rudolfo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Kazimierz Konopka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Placido Rudolfo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Placido Rudolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Bäcklin, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Guillermo Ulizes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Placido Rudolfo made a huge save. Guillermo Ulizes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Placido Rudolfo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Placido Rudolfo came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Mr.Magoo's Kazimierz Konopka. But to his dismay, Kazimierz Konopka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Ulizes got free with Placido Rudolfo in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the game, Florencio Vasco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. César Proença was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Guillermo Ulizes took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Placido Rudolfo to make any attempt to save it. Kazimierz Konopkas short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Placido Rudolfo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 40 minutes into the match, Mr.Magoo's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Vasco came free, but César Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Cordoba Utd's Placido Rudolfo got control of the ball when Guillermo Ulizes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Placido Rudolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Konopka, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute Kazimierz Konopka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Rudolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillermo Ulizes hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Romulo Bento's late challenge caught a Mr.Magoo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romulo Bento helped the player get up and apologised. Pars Yılhan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Placido Rudolfo. Cordoba Utd's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 53 minutes of play, Mr.Magoo's Guillermo Ulizes made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Placido Rudolfo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Cordoba Utd defense, Guillermo Ulizes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Placido Rudolfo. The Cordoba Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Placido Rudolfo should have stopped the shot. In the 61st minute, Guillermo Ulizes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Placido Rudolfo was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. Cordoba Utd's Placido Rudolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Ulizes in the 64th minute of play. Placido Rudolfo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guillermo Ulizes went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-1 was the resulting score. Cordoba Utd's Placido Rudolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimierz Konopka in the 68th minute of play. Placido Rudolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Ulizes in the 69th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Cordoba Utd got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Celio. After some careless play in the Cordoba Utd defense, Guillermo Ulizes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Placido Rudolfo. The Cordoba Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Placido Rudolfo should have stopped the shot. Placido Rudolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Konopka in the 74th minute of play. Cordoba Utd's Placido Rudolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Ulizes in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Vasco in the 79th minute of play forced Mr.Magoo's goalkeeper César Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Kazimierz Konopka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mr.Magoo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimierz Konopka in the 84th minute of play forced Cordoba Utd's goalkeeper Placido Rudolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Placido Rudolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Ulizes in the 86th minute of play. Placido Rudolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Konopka in the 87th minute of play. Cordoba Utd's Placido Rudolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pars Yılhan in the 89th minute of play. Pars Yılhan kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When Guillermo Ulizes fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mr.Magoo's protests and gave Guillermo Ulizes a yellow card for diving instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cordoba Utd players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mr.Magoo.
