But to his dismay, Blas Manuelo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 16 minutes, Anastasio Celio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cordoba Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anastasio Celio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cordoba Utd's Benjamin Perico got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blas Manuelo took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Placido Rudolfo. Placido Rudolfo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to Malutron FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Felipe Azibar hit a great ball. With a little luck, Malutron FC's Teo Salvidor got control of the ball when Benjamin Perico tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Celio in the 29th minute of play forced Malutron FC's goalkeeper Teo Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florencio Vasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 35th minute, Benjamin Perico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cordoba Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Malutron FC's Teo Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Vasco in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute Anastasio Celio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Blas Manuelo made a precise shot to the right of Placido Rudolfo. Cordoba Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. After the first half Malutron FC were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blas Manuelo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Placido Rudolfo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efrain Goiz in the 54th minute. In the 55th match minute, Cordoba Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Ricart to maneuver through the defense. Elias Gaitano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Placido Rudolfo. Cordoba Utd's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 59th minute, Geronimo Chabier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anastasio Celio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Malutron FC's Elias Gaitano got a free kick in the 74th minute. Placido Rudolfo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Blas Manuelo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-4 in the 81 minute of play. Teo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasio Celio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severiano Chuse charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severiano Chuse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Severiano Chuse kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Cordoba Utd's Placido Rudolfo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Cordoba Utd from getting a goal against them. Fulgencio Kepa's late challenge caught a Cordoba Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fulgencio Kepa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Malutron FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Fulgencio Kepa hit a great ball. Chants of Malutron FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Cordoba Utd had held the ball for most of the match.
