Spectators: 7802 (Terracing: 5853, Seating: 1794, VIP seats: 155) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kristopher Le Saux got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Donadeu AFC's goalkeeper Artturi Kaven had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kristopher Le Saux. Zeledon Curcio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Gomesano in the 5th minute of the match. Zeledon Curcio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Gomesano, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The audience was convinced that Luis Edwardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeledon Curcio was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Edwardo in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Curcio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute Donadeu AFC were awarded a corner. Damian Urtsua went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 15th minute, Freddy Valentine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yala's goalkeeper Zeledon Curcio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute Donadeu AFC were awarded a corner. Damian Urtsua went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Ramon Gomesano managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Zeledon Curcio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Edwardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Donadeu AFC were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Yala's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Damian Urtsua took the corner. Donadeu AFC's Luis Edwardo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zeledon Curcio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kristopher Le Saux came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Artturi Kaven could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Yala's zone, Luis Edwardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Curcio came out of the goal and Luis Edwardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kristopher Le Saux got free with Artturi Kaven in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Osvaldo Lluciano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, one of Donadeu AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Donadeu AFC. In the 46th match minute, Yala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Jaunti to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute Ramon Gomesano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Curcio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Artturi Kaven came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Yala's Kristopher Le Saux. But to his dismay, Kristopher Le Saux quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ramon Gomesano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zeledon Curcio came out and tried to block the shot, but Ramon Gomesano slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 58th minute. In the 63rd minute of the match Yala got a corner. Donadeu AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Generoso Pinto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Anton Best recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donadeu AFC's Norberto Abeitia was substituted for Mihăiţă Stanomir. In the 79th minute of the match Yala got a corner. Donadeu AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Generoso Pinto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ramon Gomesano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Curcio having to interfere. Zeledon Curcio was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Ramon Gomesano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ramon Gomesano really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
