Teofilo Gaitan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 10th minute, Raimundo Rojelio made a precise shot to the right of Teofilo Gaitan. CUNTIS ATHLETIC CLUB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Teofilo Gaitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Rojelio in the 13th minute of play. Teofilo Gaitan made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Silvano Arano sent off a good shot on target. Teofilo Gaitan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Rojelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Cristian Frantzes's late challenge caught a Huarriors AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Frantzes helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes CUNTIS ATHLETIC CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Frantzes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Arano in the 47th minute of play forced CUNTIS ATHLETIC CLUB's goalkeeper Teofilo Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The shot was stopped by David Matthew but with some difficulty. The supporters of Huarriors AFC booed when CUNTIS ATHLETIC CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Raymon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teofilo Gaitan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Rojelio in the 79th minute of the match.
