Maximo Dei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Ronaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Balerion el Terror Negro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Ronaldo Ronaldo scored to the left of an out of position Maximo Dei, making the score, 1-0. A collision led to Balerion el Terror Negro getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Paolo Palban hit a great ball. Enrique Prejun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Clóvis Monteiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maximo Dei. Clóvis Monteiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 17 minutes, Paolo Palban mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balerion el Terror Negro and the Lima AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A hard shot by Freddy Pepillo from long distance, 18 minutes into the match, got Maximo Dei's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 19th minute, Enrique Prejun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 minutes of play, Lima AFC's Clóvis Monteiro made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximo Dei was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Clóvis Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clóvis Monteiro got free with Maximo Dei in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sesuldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Napier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolfo Salbatore came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maximo Dei could save by the left post. Paolo Palban got his second yellow card in the match during the 37th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 37 played minutes Balerion el Terror Negro got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Palban. Enrique Prejun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Cristian Sesuldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximo Dei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Ronaldo in the 45th minute of the match. With his leg Maximo Dei managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Lima AFC's Clóvis Monteiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 47 played minutes Balerion el Terror Negro got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Pio. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Ronaldo in the 65th minute of play forced Balerion el Terror Negro's goalkeeper Maximo Dei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximo Dei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Ronaldo in the 66th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Ronaldo Ronaldo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lima AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Maximo Dei came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Lima AFC's Ronaldo Ronaldo. But to his dismay, Ronaldo Ronaldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Maximo Dei came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Lima AFC's Adolfo Salbatore. Balerion el Terror Negro's Maximo Dei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clóvis Monteiro in the 88th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolfo Salbatore in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximo Dei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90th minute Ronaldo Ronaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Dei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximo Dei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Salbatore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
