Spectators: 7686 (Terracing: 5765, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Teofilo Napier kicked off to start the match. Baldomero Rodas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Maximo Dei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Alberto Azevedo in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximo Dei saved Balerion el Terror Negro from getting behind. In the 8th minute, Carlos Alberto Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximo Dei was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Azevedo in the 11th minute of play forced Balerion el Terror Negro's goalkeeper Maximo Dei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximo Dei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomero Rodas went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute, Paolo Palban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximo Dei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomero Rodas's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Baldomero Rodas took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximo Dei. Maximo Dei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 20th minute Baldomero Rodas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Dei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guido Jorrin hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 31 minutes, Carlos Alberto Azevedo made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Balerion el Terror Negro's Maximo Dei tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd match minute, Balerion el Terror Negro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Jorrin to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Carlos Alberto Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Maximo Dei. Balerion el Terror Negro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Maximo Dei came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Nacional's Baldomero Rodas. But to his dismay, Baldomero Rodas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. In the 43rd match minute, Balerion el Terror Negro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Palban to maneuver through the defense. After 45 minutes, Carlos Alberto Azevedo made it 0-10 with a short kick to the right side. Balerion el Terror Negro's Maximo Dei tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-10 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Alberto Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. During the 51st minute of the match Paolo Palban completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Paolo Palban a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guido Jorrin during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Instead of passing the ball, Baldomero Rodas made a really hard long shot towards goal. Balerion el Terror Negro's Maximo Dei realized he got lucky when he saw the ball passing the outside of the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Atlético Nacional's Baldomero Rodas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maximo Dei. That made the score 0-11 after 59 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Balerion el Terror Negro's zone, Carlos Alberto Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximo Dei came out of the goal and Carlos Alberto Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the game, Carlos Alberto Azevedo lined in a short shot 0-12 behind a frustrated Maximo Dei. Baldomero Rodas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Sasoin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximo Dei having to make a save. After 72 played minutes Atlético Nacional's Vicente Sasoin stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Maximo Dei stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Balerion el Terror Negro of the goal. After 76 minutes of play, Atlético Nacional's Baldomero Rodas made it 0-14 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximo Dei was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 81 played minutes Baldomero Rodas rounded Balerion el Terror Negro's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-15. In a very dangerous position, a player in Balerion el Terror Negro fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! 88 minutes into the match, Carlos Alberto Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximo Dei. Balerion el Terror Negro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Alberto Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-17. Thanks to some nice moves Carlos Alberto Azevedo could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Maximo Dei however easily saved by the left post. Carlos Alberto Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Maximo Dei made a huge save. When the match was over Atlético Nacional could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Balerion el Terror Negro throughout the match.
