The coaching staff of Almeyra F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Samuel Muno had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 5th minute, one of Almeyra F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Almeyra F.C.. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Guiñazú FC. Ali Modrić stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cristo Colas. 1-0. Guiñazú FC were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Almeyra F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ali Modrić took the corner. The corner ended in Ali Modrić almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Almeyra F.C.'s Cristo Colas did a great save. Cristo Colas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Ostots's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute, Celedonio Xabat made a precise shot to the right of Armando Monico. Guiñazú FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Cayetano Sarracino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Guiñazú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Sarracino came free, but Armando Monico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayetano Sarracino might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Monico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cayetano Sarracino ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Modrić in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristo Colas saved Almeyra F.C. from getting behind. Ali Modrić hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Modrić stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Cayetano Sarracino fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Almeyra F.C.'s protests and gave Cayetano Sarracino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, Danilo Remir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladimiro Millan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Adan Otsoko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Monico. Guiñazú FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adan Otsoko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Celedonio Xabat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Monico having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Guiñazú FC's Cirilo Orain got a free kick in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Modrić in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristo Colas saved Almeyra F.C. from getting behind. Clemente Emesto hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match.
