The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th match minute, C.A. LANUS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Levente Végh to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zheng Chen Kang in the 8th minute of play forced Chacarita Futsal's goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Santoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Charly Fernández shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Mergildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Ángel Santoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Serrizuela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. LANUS's goalkeeper Cristian Mergildo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Charly Fernández had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristian Mergildo. C.A. LANUS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charly Fernández was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 29th minute Xesc Labarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Mergildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zahran Hermansyah's late challenge caught a Chacarita Futsal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Chacarita Futsal. Xesc Labarra stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cristian Mergildo. 2-0. If José Serrizuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Mergildo made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Esteve Paublo sent off a good shot on target. Xesc Labarra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Cristian Mergildo made a huge save. Chacarita Futsal's Miguel Ángel Santoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adamantios Geronimidis in the 42nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pang Xing Lang in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Ángel Santoro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, C.A. LANUS's Cristian Mergildo got control of the ball when Xesc Labarra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miguel Ángel Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Serrizuela in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xesc Labarra made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, C.A. LANUS's goal looked a bit too open when Charly Fernández came free, but Cristian Mergildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Xesc Labarra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When 邱沙锋 fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. LANUS's protests and gave 邱沙锋 a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, C.A. LANUS's 邱沙锋 got a free kick in the 55th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xesc Labarra in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Mergildo saved C.A. LANUS from getting behind. Cristian Mergildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charly Fernández in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Chacarita Futsal's Charly Fernández sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristian Mergildo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chacarita Futsal were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after C.A. LANUS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Augusto Rosalio took the corner. A hard shot 76 in the game by Adamantios Geronimidis from a close distance when the talented Miguel Ángel Santoro managed to make a qualified save. Chacarita Futsal's players were relieved. When Xesc Labarra came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Chacarita Futsal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xesc Labarra couldn't finish the play. Chacarita Futsal made a substitution. At last the ball reached Xesc Labarra at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of C.A. LANUS. 5-0. In the 95th minute, Xesc Labarra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
