An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Bras in the 10th minute of play forced Reggina 1914's goalkeeper Santiago Ureta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Ureta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Bras in the 11th minute of play. Simon Uxio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but José Vítor Paes made a huge save. In the 17th minute, Cristian Rufio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of José Vítor Paes, passed just outside the right post. With an all-out effort, Reggina 1914's José Vítor Paes threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristian Rufio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rosendo Ugutz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rosendo Ugutz might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santiago Ureta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rosendo Ugutz ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Troncos FC's Gerardo Bras got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 41st minute Reggina 1914 were awarded a corner. Ladislao Soin went to the cornerflag to take it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerardo Bras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reggina 1914 made a substitution. Abel Amato replaced 胡风翀. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Ladislao Soin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reggina 1914's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Soin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Vítor Paes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Bras in the 71st minute of play forced Reggina 1914's goalkeeper Santiago Ureta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Ladislao Soin notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Troncos FC's José Vítor Paes. José Vítor Paes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Reggina 1914's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
