Anselmo Jerardo hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Alumni FC's goalkeeper Tomás Paz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruben Ioritz. Enrique Savier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piotr Tworek having to interfere. When Ramon Ler came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Psychotron fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramon Ler couldn't finish the play. The attack was good, but when Joaquin Correa in the 41st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Piotr Tworek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvio Hulberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Piotr Tworek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacky Roussel in the 45th minute of play. Jakub Hetman took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Piotr Tworek. Piotr Tworek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ruben Ioritz was the one to do the kick off. Piotr Tworek made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Jakub Hetman sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Psychotron's Silvio Goren got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Ruben Ioritz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Paz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Psychotron booed when Alumni FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Xabier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elvio Hulberto was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 74th minute. Alumni FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 79th match minute, Psychotron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Jerardo to maneuver through the defense. Elvio Hulberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piotr Tworek having to interfere. Elvio Hulberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alumni FC's Jakub Hetman got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomás Paz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Goren in the 88th minute of play. Milton Cascos hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 96th match minute, Alumni FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Xabier to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Alumni FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
