Spectators: 7701 (Terracing: 5777, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) Nazario Ronaldo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Manzano FC's Maximiliano Sanson got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 5 minutes Manzano FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guido Olentzaro who took care of the corner kick. Elpidio Gabrio was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Cecilio Mirande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nazario Ronaldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Epifanio Boniel made a huge save. Julian Rocendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Frichoso in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Cecilio Mirande left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grütly fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Epifanio Boniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florín Friederichs in the 28th minute of play. Julian Rocendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Mirande in the 36th minute of the match. When Tadeo Frichoso came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Grütly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeo Frichoso couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, Manzano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Gabrio came free, but Julian Rocendo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Olentzaro in the 44th minute of play forced Manzano FC's goalkeeper Julian Rocendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Fidel Gomesano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grütly's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Gomesano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Rocendo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Manzano FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Grütly were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tadeo Frichoso was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Manzano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Mirande came free, but Julian Rocendo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Rocendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Mirande, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Grütly's Epifanio Boniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nazario Ronaldo in the 56th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeo Frichoso got free with Julian Rocendo in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Manzano FC's Isaac Lehen got a free kick in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Grütly's Guido Olentzaro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Guido Olentzaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Julian Rocendo made a huge save. Julian Rocendo stood somewhat misplaced when Cecilio Mirande came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 64 minute. Alejandro Marin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 69 minutes into the match. Grütly made a substitution. Feliberto Batista replaced Tadeo Frichoso. Florín Friederichs walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Manzano FC's Julian Rocendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Gabrio in the 73rd minute of play. Grütly's Feliberto Batista got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julian Rocendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Gabrio in the 81st minute of play. Elpidio Gabrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Julian Rocendo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Florín Friederichs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Epifanio Boniel. Grütly's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florín Friederichs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After 94 played minutes Manzano FC got a freekick which was hit by Ori Kiswanto. The Grütly supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Grütly would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
