When Doug Stanley fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caprichosos FC's protests and gave Doug Stanley a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th match minute, Caprichosos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doug Stanley to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Victoriano Constantinescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the game, Stelian Popeangă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Aurelio Fernado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Caprichosos FC booed when CASBAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Olentzaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iker Olentzaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elvio Herensuge hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Cornelius Stormo hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Santiago Solari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Rojelio having to interfere. Jeremias Ferrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Fernado having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filiberto Bermudo in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Aurelio Fernado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelian Popeangă in the 74th minute of the match. Caprichosos FC's Elias Rojelio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Caprichosos FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in CASBAS's zone, Doug Stanley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Fernado came out of the goal and Doug Stanley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iker Olentzaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Elias Rojelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelio Fernado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Bermudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After a rather tough play, CASBAS's Amador Belasko got a free kick in the 87th minute. Caprichosos FC's Doug Stanley got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute. The referee ordered Doug Stanley off the ground. In the 89th match minute, Caprichosos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doug Stanley to maneuver through the defense. Caprichosos FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
