The Chimborazo A.F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremias Ledesma should have stopped the shot. Cleto Efraim hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Ruben Ioritz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeremias Ledesma was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Robustiano Leobardo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Ruben Ioritz sped through Chimborazo A.F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jeremias Ledesma. Jeremias Ledesma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Ler, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Chimborazo A.F.C's Jeremias Ledesma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Correa in the 25th minute of play. Ruben Ioritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jeremias Ledesma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremias Ledesma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Ioritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Napoleon Wolnik got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jeremias Ledesma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Ioritz in the 33rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Pacifico got free with Piotr Tworek in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joaquin Correa took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeremias Ledesma. Jeremias Ledesma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After having played for 52 minutes, Ramon Ler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Psychotron's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramon Ler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 53rd match minute, Psychotron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Efraim to maneuver through the defense. Piotr Tworek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Pacifico, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 60 minutes, Zeledon Behe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chimborazo A.F.C and the Psychotron players grew even worse after the yellow card. 67 minutes into the match, Psychotron's Ruben Ioritz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremias Ledesma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Chimborazo A.F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Ioritz came free, but Jeremias Ledesma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chimborazo A.F.C's German Txatxu got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Ruben Ioritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jeremias Ledesma made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramon Ler in the 86th minute. In the 95th minute, Ruben Ioritz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jeremias Ledesma, passed just outside the right post. Joaquin Correa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Ledesma having to interfere. When the match was over Psychotron could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chimborazo A.F.C throughout the match.
