Tomás Paz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Uhin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Wilson Calçada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomás Paz was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Alumni FC's Tomás Paz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Uhin in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Calçada in the 32nd minute of play forced Alumni FC's goalkeeper Tomás Paz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Alumni FC were awarded a corner. Milton Cascos went to the cornerflag to take it. Tomás Paz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Calçada in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Hermengildo Uhin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Paz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Calçada in the 40th minute of play forced Alumni FC's goalkeeper Tomás Paz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Weber Bahía Basket booed when Alumni FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Udalaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Weber Bahía Basket's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Lehen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilson Calçada to make the kick off. Per-Oskar Forsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Hulberto in the 52nd minute of the match. The corner led to Alumni FC's Jacky Roussel getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Per-Oskar Forsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Savier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th match minute, Alumni FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Saşca to maneuver through the defense. Wilson Calçada took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomás Paz. Tomás Paz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakub Hetman in the 65th minute of play forced Weber Bahía Basket's goalkeeper Per-Oskar Forsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Paz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hermengildo Uhin in the 67th minute. After taking down the ball on Weber Bahía Basket's corner Patricio Lehen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tomás Paz quite easily take care of the ball. Jacky Roussel struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Per-Oskar Forsberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alumni FC. With a little luck, Alumni FC's Tomás Paz got control of the ball when Hermengildo Uhin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicanor Ramond kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Weber Bahía Basket's goal looked a bit too open when Elvio Hulberto came free, but Per-Oskar Forsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alumni FC's Tomás Paz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Calçada in the 92nd minute of play. Hermengildo Uhin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Paz having to interfere. Alumni FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Weber Bahía Basket had controlled the match.
