Languiñeo FC's Rigoberto Txerran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Languiñeo FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of DeportivoIndependienteMDP booed when Languiñeo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Haimar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salvador Perfecto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enzo Totakoxe struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Anastasio Eguerdi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Languiñeo FC. Rigoberto Txerran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esquipula Bouzon in the 23rd minute of play. Anastasio Eguerdi came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Languiñeo FC's Enzo Totakoxe. But to his dismay, Enzo Totakoxe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 32 played minutes Languiñeo FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaby Batistuta. Rigoberto Txerran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esquipula Bouzon in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute DeportivoIndependienteMDP were awarded a corner. Salvador Perfecto went to the cornerflag to take it. Salvador Perfecto made a great header on DeportivoIndependienteMDP's corner, it was just that Languiñeo FC's Rigoberto Txerran managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 36th minute of the match, Salvador Perfecto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rigoberto Txerran saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Anastasio Eguerdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Totakoxe in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match Languiñeo FC got a corner. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nemesio Eliazar ran over to the corner to take the kick. When DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Esquipula Bouzon in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Languiñeo FC's goalie prevented a goal. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Languiñeo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Salvador Perfecto was slow to take the kick. During this time DeportivoIndependienteMDP's players had a chance to rest. Nemesio Eliazar kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Salvador Perfecto struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Rigoberto Txerran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DeportivoIndependienteMDP. Rigoberto Txerran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Demario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enzo Totakoxe made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Salvador Perfecto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Perfecto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Bernardino Abel in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Languiñeo FC's Silvio Haimar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Totakoxe in the 57th minute of play forced DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalkeeper Anastasio Eguerdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esquipula Bouzon in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rigoberto Txerran saved Languiñeo FC from getting behind. Enzo Totakoxe took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anastasio Eguerdi. Anastasio Eguerdi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Anastasio Eguerdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Totakoxe in the 71st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esquipula Bouzon in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rigoberto Txerran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rigoberto Txerran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esquipula Bouzon's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Gaby Batistuta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Anastasio Eguerdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Languiñeo FC made a substitution. Bartolo Izel replaced Enzo Totakoxe. Nicolas Demario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Gustavo Orlanda was substituted for Christian Gonsalvo. Languiñeo FC's Eliseo Vargas was substituted for Gaby Batistuta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esquipula Bouzon in the 89th minute of play forced Languiñeo FC's goalkeeper Rigoberto Txerran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anastasio Eguerdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Izel in the 91st minute of play. Languiñeo FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over DeportivoIndependienteMDP's much stronger midfield.
