In the 27thth minute of the game Fritz Sziedat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merengue FC's Mateo Llorienzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Darwin Núñez kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Mateo Llorienzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fritz Sziedat, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Mateo Llorienzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Warka in the 34th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Stan English got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mateo Llorienzo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Merengue FC! When Fritz Sziedat came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the LOS LEALES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fritz Sziedat couldn't finish the play. Fritz Sziedat charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fritz Sziedat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Fritz Sziedat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Neuer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Jago, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Manuel Neuer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darwin Núñez in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fritz Sziedat was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Manuel Neuer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 55th minute Stefan Warka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Llorienzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LOS LEALES's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stan English in the 56th minute. The corner ended in Stan English almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Merengue FC's Mateo Llorienzo did a great save. With an all-out effort, Merengue FC's Manuel Neuer threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Domingo Jago, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Patrik Grönberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Neuer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darwin Núñez in the 87th minute of play. Mateo Llorienzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fritz Sziedat in the 92nd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Merengue FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for LOS LEALES.
