The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Danilo Heli was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Darwin Núñez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trinidad 4.7's goalkeeper Danilo Heli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Trinidad 4.7's Danilo Heli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Frances in the 13th minute of play. Mateo Llorienzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Txaran in the 15th minute of the match. Merengue FC's Mateo Llorienzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Txaran in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roland Banaszak got free with Danilo Heli in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Trinidad 4.7 fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Trinidad 4.7's Alejo Gurutz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Trinidad 4.7's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Domingo Jago scored to the left of an out of position Danilo Heli, making the score, 3-1. Alejo Gurutz charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejo Gurutz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th match minute, Trinidad 4.7 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Gurutz to maneuver through the defense. After 40 minutes of play, Trinidad 4.7's Leo Ochoa made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateo Llorienzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Trinidad 4.7 getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Elias Gomez hit a great ball. Domingo Jago blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danilo Heli having to make a save. Leo Ochoa struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Mateo Llorienzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trinidad 4.7. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roland Banaszak to make the kick off. A nice corner shot did that Celestino Basualdo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mateo Llorienzo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Elias Gomez made a great header on Trinidad 4.7's corner, it was just that Merengue FC's Mateo Llorienzo managed to reach the ball for a save. After 58 minutes of play, Merengue FC's Ismael Frances made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danilo Heli was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 62nd minute Darwin Núñez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Heli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateo Llorienzo came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Trinidad 4.7's Alejo Gurutz. But to his dismay, Alejo Gurutz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-3. In the 69th minute, Anier Unai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes, Merengue FC's Raimundo Gonsalvo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Danilo Heli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Merengue FC reached it. When Trinidad 4.7's Alejo Gurutz in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Merengue FC's goalie prevented a goal. Trinidad 4.7's Astor Diegotxe was substituted for Emmanuel Mammana. Mateo Llorienzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Ochoa in the 87th minute of the match. After 95 played minutes Trinidad 4.7 got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Silvanito. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Merengue FC had won after a very even match.
