Bernardo Tarulli came out of the goal and Eusebio Vistruario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Real Suciedad F.C's Victor Dunixi got a free kick in the 25th minute. Prudencio Brion stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ranko Kvarantan's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Club Atlethico Talleres's Bernardo Tarulli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Vistruario in the 31st minute of play. Victor Dunixi hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebio Vistruario got free with Bernardo Tarulli in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 40 minutes into the match, Eusebio Vistruario had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Tarulli. Club Atlethico Talleres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusebio Vistruario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Bernardo Tarulli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Vistruario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Atlethico Talleres players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Real Suciedad F.C.
