A. Korn's Eugenio Cruz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Primitivo Goizeder, made in the 2nd minute of the game. Jimeno Teodor was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Ruben Salvator capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ruben Salvator really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Primitivo Goizeder charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Primitivo Goizeder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Primitivo Goizeder kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Fabian Obano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ubaldo Matildo Fillol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. A. Korn's attentive Alvaro Urtsin managed to snatch the ball when Primitivo Goizeder made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. If Ruben Salvator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Obano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maxim De Mayer got a throw-in 24 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Stéphane Le Thiec. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabian Obano's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Obano in the 26th minute of play forced A. Korn's goalkeeper Ubaldo Matildo Fillol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salta Futbol Club's Jimeno Teodor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Salvator in the 27th minute of play. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Obano, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Jimeno Teodor successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fabian Obano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when A. Korn's Ruben Salvator in the 37th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Jimeno Teodor was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Salta Futbol Club through an amazing save. When Gavra Parezanović came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Salta Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavra Parezanović couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, A. Korn's Haythem Boumnijel got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Vergílio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Obano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cornel Vulpe hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After having played for 54 minutes, Ruben Salvator managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A. Korn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Salvator was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A. After a rather tough play, Salta Futbol Club's Leonardo Ricart got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Ruben Salvator made a precise shot to the right of Jimeno Teodor. Salta Futbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Jimeno Teodor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Salvator in the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Salvator in the 70th minute of play forced Salta Futbol Club's goalkeeper Jimeno Teodor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 minutes, Fabian Obano made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. A. Korn's Ubaldo Matildo Fillol tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ruben Salvator took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jimeno Teodor. Jimeno Teodor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After a rather tough play, Salta Futbol Club's Stéphane Le Thiec got a free kick in the 83rd minute. When Stéphane Le Thiec came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Salta Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stéphane Le Thiec couldn't finish the play. Fabian Obano was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 87 minutes into the match, A. Korn's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Obano came free, but Ubaldo Matildo Fillol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Salta Futbol Club's Van Denayer seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Van Denayer the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Salta Futbol Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Van Denayer had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. For all the effort they put into the match, the Salta Futbol Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for A. Korn.
