The Espirillo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Atilano Haimar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coquena FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Atilano Haimar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Iztal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inocencio Dominguez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristo Elia went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Ado in the 23rd minute of play forced Espirillo FC's goalkeeper Jorge Iztal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Coquena FC's Inocencio Dominguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Fernandes in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mercurio Matta in the 26th minute of play forced Espirillo FC's goalkeeper Jorge Iztal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute of the match Coquena FC got a corner. Espirillo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mercurio Matta ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Espirillo FC's goalie and right to Prudencio Chuse. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Espirillo FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Inocencio Dominguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Elia in the 34th minute of play. Espirillo FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aaron Cutberto in the 35th minute. It was a well-played corner which Joaquim Fernandes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 37 minutes into the match, Coquena FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Arotza came free, but Inocencio Dominguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacobo Jaunti got free with Jorge Iztal in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Inocencio Dominguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Elia in the 39th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim Fernandes in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inocencio Dominguez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute Cristo Elia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Dominguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inocencio Dominguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Arotza in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Jorge Iztal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Eufrasio in the 66th minute of the match. After 73 minutes of play, Espirillo FC's Joaquim Fernandes made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inocencio Dominguez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rico Migachev lost his temper 77 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnoldo Arotza got free with Inocencio Dominguez in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Coquena FC's Inocencio Dominguez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Coquena FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Espirillo FC's Saverio Cristos got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 97 minutes, Abel Demario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espirillo FC and the Coquena FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 98 played minutes Espirillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Demario. Espirillo FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
