After 6 minutes, Atilano Haimar made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Coronados's Raul Ekialde tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th match minute, Coquena FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carsten Hoby to maneuver through the defense. Raul Ekialde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Haimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Raul Ekialde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Haimar in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Coronados booed when Coquena FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carsten Hoby didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Gaur got free with Inocencio Dominguez in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alberto Gaur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Inocencio Dominguez made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Haimar in the 45th minute of play forced Coronados's goalkeeper Raul Ekialde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 played minutes Coronados got a freekick which was hit by Leon Santiago. Albano Hug hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. When Mercurio Matta came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the Coquena FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mercurio Matta couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian Endira made a kick off. Coquena FC were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Coronados's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mercurio Matta took the corner. The corner ended in Jacobo Jaunti almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Coronados's Raul Ekialde did a great save. Raul Ekialde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilano Haimar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Coronados defense, Atilano Haimar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raul Ekialde. The Coronados fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raul Ekialde should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atilano Haimar in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raul Ekialde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atilano Haimar in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raul Ekialde saved Coronados from getting behind. Inocencio Dominguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Endira in the 68th minute of the match. Carsten Hoby kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st match minute, Coquena FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carsten Hoby to maneuver through the defense. Raul Ekialde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Haimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 76 minutes Coronados's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mercurio Matta who took care of the corner kick. Coronados's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atilano Haimar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Coquena FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
