Raul Ekialde made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Aaron Cutberto sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Raul Ekialde managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Espirillo FC's Aaron Cutberto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jorge Iztal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Endira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Ferran in the 22nd minute of play forced Espirillo FC's goalkeeper Jorge Iztal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albano Hug hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Aaron Cutberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espirillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aaron Cutberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Ekialde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Espirillo FC's Jorge Iztal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Urtzi in the 29th minute of play. Aaron Cutberto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Raul Ekialde skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aaron Cutberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Ekialde having to interfere. Joaquim Fernandes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Raul Ekialde when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristian Endira was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Coronados's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Cutberto came free, but Raul Ekialde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58thth minute of the game Aaron Cutberto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coronados's Raul Ekialde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Aaron Cutberto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raul Ekialde. Coronados's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aaron Cutberto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aaron Cutberto in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raul Ekialde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raul Ekialde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Cutberto in the 64th minute of play. Raul Ekialde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aaron Cutberto's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After 72 minutes, Saverio Cristos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espirillo FC and the Coronados players grew even worse after the yellow card. Coronados's Alberto Gaur was substituted for Cristian Endira. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrian Urtzi got free with Jorge Iztal in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Aaron Cutberto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raul Ekialde was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 80th minute, Arturo Edwardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Coronados's Herminio Gipuzkoa was substituted for Albano Hug. After 81 played minutes Espirillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Edwardo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Elia in the 83rd minute of play forced Coronados's goalkeeper Raul Ekialde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute of the match Espirillo FC got a corner. Coronados's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aaron Cutberto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arnoldo Arotza was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Jorge Iztal made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Adrian Urtzi sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Espirillo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dionisio Soter was slow to take the kick. During this time Coronados's players had a chance to rest. Virgilio Weather was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Raul Ekialde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Fernandes in the 92nd minute of the match. Raul Ekialde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Elia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Coronados players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Espirillo FC.
