Laurita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Alberto Kempes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodolfo Favila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Alberto Kempes in the 16th minute of play. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Mario Alberto Kempes sped through ViCeNzA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rodolfo Favila. The referee gave Laurita FC a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Filip Ikalewicz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ViCeNzA's Rodolfo Favila. 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.
