Spectators: 7658 (Terracing: 5745, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ruperto Bide started the match with the kick off. Blas Abascal hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Mauricio Mingo struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Rodolfo Favila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gunners. After having played for 6 minutes, Ruperto Bide managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gunners's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruperto Bide was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodolfo Favila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Bide in the 6th minute of the match. When Ruperto Bide came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Gunners fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Bide couldn't finish the play. 16 minutes into the game, Eulalio Casado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Prudencio Isidor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the ViCeNzA defense, Ruperto Bide kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Favila. The ViCeNzA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Favila should have stopped the shot. A collision led to ViCeNzA getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Blas Abascal hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the game, Feliciano Barbosa threw the ball into play from the sideline. Gunners's Mauro Petrigai quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Mauro Petrigai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Ruperto Bide had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodolfo Favila. ViCeNzA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruperto Bide was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Feliciano Barbosa made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Gunners's Mauro Petrigai. If Mauro Petrigai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to ViCeNzA getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Arturo Lluc hit a great ball. Rodolfo Favila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruperto Bide went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute Ruperto Bide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Favila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Favila came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Gunners's Ruperto Bide. But to his dismay, Ruperto Bide quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. After the first half Gunners were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute, Ruperto Bide ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodolfo Favila was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Rodolfo Favila was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ruperto Bide showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 58 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruperto Bide in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodolfo Favila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Ruperto Bide's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodolfo Favila was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Prudencio Isidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Quintun in the 69th minute of play. Feliciano Barbosa made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Gunners's Mauro Petrigai. Ruperto Bide succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-9 in the 77th playminute. Gunners's Prudencio Isidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Casado in the 82nd minute of play. In the 88th minute, Gunners's Ruperto Bide dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-11. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind ViCeNzA's goalkeeper Rodolfo Favila, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 93rd minute of the match Gunners got a corner. ViCeNzA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mauricio Mingo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Mauricio Mingo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ViCeNzA's Rodolfo Favila did a great save. 95 minutes into the game, Ruperto Bide lined in a short shot 1-12 behind a frustrated Rodolfo Favila.
