In the 90th minute of the match Rafaela FC got a corner. Inter MIAMI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nico Veit ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rafaela FC's Nico Veit was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Podador Zumaeta in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Severo Oriche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Podador Zumaeta made a huge save. Podador Zumaeta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio in the 93rd minute. Rafaela FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
