After a rather tough play, Rebentala FC's Maximino Tabby got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The long shot by Cristian Abeita in the 3rd minute really tested Remzi İçten's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Rebentala FC booed when BATIgol FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Erik Winström didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Rebentala FC's Remzi İçten got control of the ball when Domingo Llorian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Remzi İçten was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Domingo Llorian showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Rebentala FC's Emanuel Reno got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hazım Cilasun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angel Peruzzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, BATIgol FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Erik Winström to maneuver through the defense. In the 26thth minute of the game Julian Unax who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rebentala FC's Remzi İçten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Remzi İçten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Unax's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Remzi İçten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingo Llorian in the 33rd minute. In the 35th match minute, Rebentala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Asteri to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Abeita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Remzi İçten. Rebentala FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 41st minute Julian Unax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remzi İçten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angel Peruzzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hazım Cilasun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Rebentala FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Patricio Pelayo hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hazım Cilasun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Remzi İçten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Unax in the 51st minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Julian Unax heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 58th minute, Hazım Cilasun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute Julian Unax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remzi İçten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BATIgol FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Llorian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Remzi İçten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Unax in the 77th minute of play. Julian Unax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Remzi İçten came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by BATIgol FC's Julian Unax. But to his dismay, Julian Unax quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. There was no doubt that BATIgol FC were the better team. BATIgol FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
