Spectators: 7652 (Terracing: 5741, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) BATIgol FC's Julian Unax started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rodolfo Favila was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Domingo Llorian showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. A collision led to ViCeNzA getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Arturo Lluc hit a great ball. Angel Peruzzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Casado in the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, BATIgol FC's Feliciano Orti got a free kick in the 16th minute. A collision led to BATIgol FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Zacharias Souflas hit a great ball. Angel Peruzzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Casado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Domingo Llorian fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BATIgol FC's protests and gave Domingo Llorian a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Domingo Llorian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Julian Unax dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rodolfo Favila, 2-0. Romeo Millano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Rodolfo Favila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Favila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingo Llorian in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute BATIgol FC were awarded a corner. Cristian Abeita went to the cornerflag to take it. Feliciano Orti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernan Llope was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Feliciano Orti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Rodolfo Favila was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Angel Peruzzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Casado in the 54th minute of play. Rodolfo Favila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Orti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BATIgol FC's Cristian Abeita couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 56th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ViCeNzA. In the 58th minute Julian Unax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Favila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Fernan Llope hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Domingo Llorian managed to get in a good position for a shot. BATIgol FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingo Llorian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Favila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the match, Generoso Quintun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angel Peruzzi. BATIgol FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Generoso Quintun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Domingo Llorian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Feliciano Orti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BATIgol FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Feliciano Orti hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Julian Unax received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Rodolfo Favila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of ViCeNzA booed when BATIgol FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Weterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernan Llope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Peruzzi having to interfere. Romeo Millano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodolfo Favila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Llorian, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Rodolfo Favila came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by BATIgol FC's Julian Unax. But to his dismay, Julian Unax quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Julian Unax took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodolfo Favila. Rodolfo Favila dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1.
