Franco Barcaiztegui didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sabino Brites went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Franco Barcaiztegui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sabino Brites's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After 26 played minutes ¨Los Matadores¨ got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Mantzio. Franco Barcaiztegui came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Imperio Cordobés FC's Alfonso Mel. But to his dismay, Alfonso Mel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Isaias Fonda in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Franco Barcaiztegui, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Isaias Fonda who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Franco Barcaiztegui when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaias Fonda in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Barcaiztegui prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute Sabino Brites shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Barcaiztegui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franco Barcaiztegui made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaias Fonda in the 42nd minute. Franco Barcaiztegui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sabino Brites's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Hugo Hjelm made the kick off in the second half. Alfonso Mel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Imperio Cordobés FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Montrelle came free, but Tales Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Imperio Cordobés FC's Tales Falcão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Imperio Cordobés FC from getting a goal against them. Tomas Munio hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Franco Barcaiztegui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabino Brites, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tales Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rai Marques in the 66th minute of play. Tales Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Hjelm in the 68th minute of the match. Cecilio Txerran's late challenge caught a ¨Los Matadores¨'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cecilio Txerran helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th minute, Cecilio Txerran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Hjelm in the 77th minute of play forced Imperio Cordobés FC's goalkeeper Tales Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Isaias Fonda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franco Barcaiztegui was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. The Imperio Cordobés FC fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Imperio Cordobés FC's Isaias Fonda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
