Spectators: 7702 (Terracing: 5778, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) Trenel AFC's Alastair Moody started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arnoldo Sandalio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Dolfos in the 12th minute of the match. Arnoldo Sandalio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nemesio Dolfos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Arne Kråk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Argoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nemesio Dolfos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Trenel AFC's Arnoldo Sandalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Dolfos in the 24th minute of play. After 25 minutes, Alberto Montanari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trenel AFC and the Potrerillo Azuleño players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nemesio Dolfos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Sandalio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Potrerillo Azuleño were awarded a corner. Nemesio Dolfos went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 28th minute of the match Potrerillo Azuleño got a corner. Trenel AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nemesio Dolfos ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 29th minute, Joris Backers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emiliano Eguerdi hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Arne Kråk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Gregory, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Potrerillo Azuleño's Nemesio Dolfos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 38thth minute of the game Nemesio Dolfos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trenel AFC's Arnoldo Sandalio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nemesio Dolfos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nemesio Dolfos got free with Arnoldo Sandalio in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 47 minutes, Bruno Gregory managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trenel AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Gregory was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nemesio Dolfos to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Potrerillo Azuleño booed when Trenel AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Mincho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Nemesio Dolfos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnoldo Sandalio was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Nemesio Dolfos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Sandalio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Potrerillo Azuleño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Abecia to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute Nemesio Dolfos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Sandalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Fulgencio Argoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the game, Nemesio Dolfos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Arnoldo Sandalio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Trenel AFC made a substitution. Ariel Valiente replaced Alberto Montanari. Nemesio Dolfos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arnoldo Sandalio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Dolfos in the 81st minute of play. The throw-in from Rodolfo Mincho in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Potrerillo Azuleño's Maximiliano Abecia. 93 minutes into the match, Trenel AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Dolfos came free, but Arnoldo Sandalio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Potrerillo Azuleño's Nemesio Dolfos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnoldo Sandalio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Potrerillo Azuleño had won after a very even match.
