Maurinho Terra came out of the goal and Zézinho Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andy Garcia came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Alejandra's Angel Cidro. But to his dismay, Angel Cidro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Zézinho Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 10 minutes into the match, Alejandra's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Moraes came free, but Maurinho Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurinho Terra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zézinho Moraes in the 12th minute of the match. Soda f c's Fabian Etor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maurinho Terra in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 18 minutes into the match, Alejandra's goalkeeper Maurinho Terra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zézinho Moraes. Alejandra's Maurinho Terra quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Niculae Turdeanu, made in the 19th minute of the game. In the 20th minute Zézinho Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurinho Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurinho Terra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zézinho Moraes's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. The audience was convinced that Zézinho Moraes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurinho Terra was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Yngve Örtendahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zézinho Moraes in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurinho Terra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A beautiful save bye Alejandra's goalie prevented a goal. 31 minutes into the match, Soda f c's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Cidro came free, but Andy Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurinho Terra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zézinho Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Zézinho Moraes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soda f c fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 40th minute Angel Cidro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurinho Terra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zézinho Moraes's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After 45 played minutes Alejandra got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Peli. Zézinho Moraes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Maurinho Terra 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Goizeder was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Alejandra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Peli to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Alejandra's Angel Cidro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andy Garcia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Soda f c's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gilberto Goizeder fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
