All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The referee ignored GRINGO FC's protests and gave Freddy Fanuco a yellow card for diving instead. Erasmo Urbez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Ruquense FC fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Ruquense FC's Basilio Fernandez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Anier Selatse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without François-Xavier Dionnet having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ruquense FC's zone, Anier Selatse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. François-Xavier Dionnet came out of the goal and Anier Selatse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ruquense FC had won after a very even match.
