In the 74th minute, Placido Enetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaston Chuan came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Boca Juniors's Cesar Garcia. But to his dismay, Cesar Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gaston Chuan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cesar Garcia's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Ángel Labruna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Benny Stolpe made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Fermin Mergildo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benny Stolpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Leheren in the 86th minute of the match. C.A. Boca Juniors's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Cipriano Edwardo scored to the left of an out of position Benny Stolpe, making the score, 1-1. Cipriano Edwardo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
