Cristian Bautista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Orgullo Multicolor were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Rio Grande FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emile van der Sar took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Astor Ermano heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 26 minutes into the match, Rio Grande FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Luix came free, but Artur Mosiniak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Rio Grande FC's goalkeeper Artur Mosiniak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emile van der Sar. 29 minutes into the match, Rio Grande FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Luix came free, but Artur Mosiniak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artur Mosiniak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Luix in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
