Victorino Perez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Edmílson Veloso made a huge save. After the first half Napoleón 2018 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victorino Perez to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Victorino Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 53rd minute Saturnino Johans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Tebaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Falckner's zone, Prudencio Gai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaias Tebaldo came out of the goal and Prudencio Gai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmílson Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Napoleón 2018 made a substitution. Antonio Alzamendi replaced Gregorio Garoa. Edmílson Veloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorino Perez went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 78 minutes into the match, Napoleón 2018's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Perez came free, but Edmílson Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Napoleón 2018 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
