Villa Lourdes FC's Gerónimo Rulli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Dalli in the 16th minute of play. Paulino Valiente struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Danijel Subašić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa Lourdes FC. A collision led to Esmeralda AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Zülfü Sungur hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the game, Paulino Valiente recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Danijel Subašić. Paulino Valiente showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Danijel Subašić successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Paulino Valiente succeeded in the game's 34th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. In the 37th minute Devidatta Vendetta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerónimo Rulli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Paulino Valiente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The wind increased when Paulino Valiente made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Esmeralda AFC's Andrew Dalli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gerónimo Rulli. That made the score 3-3 after 83 minutes of play. 88 minutes into the match, Villa Lourdes FC's goalkeeper Gerónimo Rulli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Devidatta Vendetta.
